Q: What materials are used in this course? Do I have to purchase the materials used in this course, and how do I go about doing so?
A: The materials used in this course are Music Theory For Young Musicians Grade 5: 3rd Edition by Ying Ying Ng (primary material) and Practice in Music Theory - Grade 5 - 5th Edition with Answers by Josephine Koh (secondary material). You are only required to purchase Music Theory For Young Musicians Grade 5: 3rd Edition by Ying Ying Ng and can do so through this link.
Q: What is the schedule for the entire course of online lessons? How does the whole process work?

Q: Other than the weekly online lessons, what materials will I get?

Q: If I require more 1-1 Zoom consultations, is that possible?
A: Yes, that is possible. However, you will need to pay for each zoom consultation session ($40/40 minutes). Booking can be done through this link.

Q: How do I get access to video recordings?
A: Video recordings will only be provided on request, through a google drive link. If you need to request for any video recordings of the lessons, please reach out to me here.

Q: Do I register for the exam? Or will you help me register for the exam?
A: You can register for the exam yourself. However, if you let me register on your behalf, you will be entitled to a 10% refund of the total lesson fees (regardless of what you have scored for the exam).

Q: How many people will there be in each lesson/zoom meeting?
A: A maximum of 50 students will be attending each lesson.

Q: How much are the lessons fees?
A: $600 SGD for the entire course of lessons.

Q: Are the lesson fees exchangeable or refundable? Will there be any makeup lessons?
A: Lessons fees are non-refundable. There will be no make-up lessons. However, you may request for the video recording of the lesson that you have missed by contacting me here.

Q: What is the currency used for the price of your lessons?
A: Prices of the entire course of lessons are all listed in SGD ($600). Upfront payment is required for all lessons.
Q: What happens after I've completed payment?
A: An invoice will be sent to your email.
Q: Is there any exclusive student discount, before purchasing the course?
A: Nope.
Q: Is there any exclusive students discount, after purchasing the course?
A: Yes. However, it is only exclusive to students who scored distinction and merit for the Grade 5 Theory examination, and has registered my name (Jacinda Soh Jia Yi) as the presenter. More details will only be shared with you when you schedule a consultation slot with me here.
